About the Clinic
The Community Counseling and Assessment Clinic provides affordable, quality counseling and psychological services to the university and Hattiesburg communities. Our counselors are graduate students in the Counseling Psychology master's and doctoral programs who are working under the supervision of program faculty members. All services are provided by appointment only.
Following the University of Southern Mississippi’s decision to cancel face-to-face classes and implement other measures to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Community Counseling and Assessment Clinic is temporarily suspending services. Unfortunately, it is not clear when we will be able to resume services.
To obtain services while we are closed, we encourage students at the University of Southern Mississippi to contact Student Counseling Services and non-students to contact Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources. Persons in need of mental health services outside the Hattiesburg area should see the Mississippi Department of Mental Health website.
We will update this information as soon as we are able to resume services.
