  • Effective time management

  • Study skills and test-taking strategies

  • Adjusting to college life

  • Support for nontraditional students returning to school

  • Peer relationships

  • Educational planning and selecting an academic major

  • Support for international students

  • Self-care skills

  • Career counseling

Most academic success services are available to students at the University of Southern Mississippi, community colleges, and local high schools. High school students must be at least 16 years old and have parental consent to receive services through the Community Counseling and Assessment Clinic.
