Students who wish to receive federal financial assistance for the summer session must
complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA
if they have not already done so.
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least six (6) hours to be eligible to
receive federal financial assistance. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least
three (3) hours to be eligible to receive federal financial assistance. All credit
hours taken during the summer session must apply toward a student's program of study.
Students submitting applications for summer financial assistance after April 16 must
be prepared to pay half of their tuition and fees at registration for the summer session.
Students who enroll in Study Abroad programs
and in summer school are not eligible to acquire loan refunds until ten (10) days
before the summer session begins or ten (10) days before their departure for study
abroad, whichever comes later
. Students attending Study Abroad and summer school must submit applications for both
at the same time.
