CANCELLATION OF CLASSES FOR NONPAYMENT
Students must pay tuition and fees for the current term by the end of the term or face having their classes in the next term cancelled.
Reason for Policy/Purpose
This policy is required for the effective communication of university policy regarding cancellation of classes for nonpayment.

All students attending The University of Southern Mississippi.

Students will be allowed to pre-register for an upcoming term even if they have an outstanding balance for the current term. Classes for the upcoming term may be cancelled if the current term balance is not paid by the end of the term. A $100 Late Payment Fee will also be assessed.
When classes are cancelled, a service indicator blocking enrollment will be placed on all students owing a balance for prior terms. Once the student pays in full, the service indicator will be removed. If the student is eligible to enroll, he/she will be able to register on SOAR and will not
