Golden Eagle Welcome Week (GEWW) is the second part of the three-part Orientation process for incoming students. GEWW takes place directly before the start of the fall semester and is meant to help new students transition to campus before classes begin. During GEWW, students will be divided into small groups with their assigned GEWW Crew Leader. You will learn more about Southern Miss spirit and traditions, campus life, and student resources. We'll also host an involvement fair so you can connect with the student organizations that interest you, and session rotations to learn more about opportunities to connect on and off campus.
