We're so excited to offer this year's annual Spring Involvement Fair in-person at Spirit Park on campus (rain site TCC 2nd floor hallway). This page will offer important COVID-19 safety information for both student organizations and students/campus community members interested in attending the event. Registration for the Spring Involvement Fair NEW date March 24th is now open. Click here to sign up by March 15th.  Groups that signed up should be checking their USM email accounts for further information.

Please note the important event procedures in place for your safety due to COVID-19:

  • Each organization will be assigned a one hour period of time to table based on org category. This allows us to accomodate more groups while still following social distancing and capacity guidelines. 
  • Tables are provided and will be pre-assigned and labeled with org name when you arrive at Spirit Park. One table and up to two members ONLY are permitted due to capacity guidelines.
  • You will have 15 minutes prior to your hour to set up your table. Please arrive on time. You are encourage to bring display boards, computer screens or anything else you want to have up at your table to talk about your organization. 
  • Spirit Park will be marked clearly with event entry and exit and face coverings will be required for all in attendance at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided for all organizations and attendees.
  • Organizations should minimize touchpoints and/or giveaway items as much as possible at their tables. Absolutely no food should be present. Consider using QR codes or virtual marketing materials to cut down on touchpoints.
  • If inclement weather is in the forecast, we will move the event indoors to the Thad Cochran Center 2nd floor hallway. We will email all groups signed up if we have to make this call ahead of the event. We are still highlighting videos of organizations through our FlipGrid page. There is still time for you to create a page to have your organization included. Click here to set that up.

We are so excited you are interested in learning more about our Spring Involvement Fair. The event will take place Wednesday, March 24th beginning at 11 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. at Spirit Park with a rain location in the TCC 2nd floor hallway. You do not have to register to attend ahead of time.

Please note important event procedures and information in place for your safety due to COVID-19:

  • You can come and go as you please at any time during 11am-3pm when the event is going on. Organizations will be set up in one hour time slots up to 15 organizations per hour so that we can accomodate more groups. You can browse all registered organizations at any time by clicking here.
  • The breakdown of organizations each hour is below:
    • 11am-11:45am | Academic, Service,  Games & Athletics and Graduate Orgs
    • Noon-12:45pm | Special Interest Orgs
    • 1pm-1:45pm | Fraternity & Sorority Life Orgs
    • 2pm- 2:45pm | Honor Societies,  Housing/Residence Life and Religious Orgs
  • Spirit Park will have a clear entry and exit for the event labeled. Please follow all signs directing you how to appropriately enter and exit.
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times. Hand sanitizer will be available upon entering.
  • LSI will manage guests to ensure capacity is not exceeded. You might be asked to return or to wait in a socially distanced line until you are able to enter the event.
  • Should inclement weather be in the forecast for the day, we will move the event indoors to the Thad Cochran Center 2nd floor hallway.  You can also complete this form which will connect you with an Involvement Ambassador to meet virtually to discuss your involvement goals one-on-one.
