Explore the Ocean Sciences at Summer Camp!
The Marine Education Center welcomes back Ocean Science and Technology Camp in Summer
2023! This week-long day camp offers 7th - 12th grade students an in depth journey
into ocean sciences and state-of-the-art equipment and technology used by research
scientists to explore the ocean! Students will take a journey onboard a USM Research Vessel, explore a world-class
research facility, and work on hands on autonomous vehicles in this summer camp experience.

Grades 7th-12th — $450 | July 10 - 14
In Ocean Science Camp you will:
- Meet USM Scientists
- Build your own Autonomous Vehicle Model
- Learn about Gulf Blue and Ocean Industry
- Explore the Mississippi Sound on a USM Research Vessel
Ocean Science and Technology Camp sessions are held on Monday through Friday from 8AM - 3PM.
Online Registration - Registration for Ocean Science and Technology Camp is offered only online. Paper forms are no longer used. University faculty, staff and students recieve 10% Discount on camp tuition!
The fee is $450 per student. Camp registration requires a $100 non-refundable deposit.
