Coatings Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) Scholarships	Award based on GPA at the end of the year. Contact the School of Polymers
Sidney Lauren Memorial Award (CIEF)	Annual Award presented at the Waterborne Symposium (no application process)
Society of Plastics Engineers Foundation	Multiple undergraduate and graduate scholarships range up to $4,000 annually. Scholarships are awarded for one year only, but applicants may apply for a re-award for up to three additional years. General Eligibility Requirements Applicants for scholarship, unless otherwise specified, must be full-time undergraduate students in either a four-year college or a two-year technical program or enrolled in a graduate program. All applicants must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry. Applicants must be majoring in or taking courses that are beneficial to a career in the plastics/polymer industry. Applicants must be in good academic standing with their schools. Financial need of applicants will be considered.

The Nonwoven's Institute	Undergraduate Student Scholarships. This scholarship is for sophomores and juniors majoring in fiber and polymer science, textiles, material science, paper science, chemical engineering or related disciplines.

National Merit Scholarship Corporation	About National Merit Scholarship Corp. Established in 1955 to conduct the annual National Merit Scholarship Program, the largest independently financed competition for college undergraduate scholarships in the United States, National Merit Scholarship Corp. is a nonprofit organization that operates without government assistance. The majority of National Merit Scholarships offered each year are underwritten by about 440 independent corporate and college sponsors that support NMSC’s efforts to honor the nation’s scholastic talent and encourage academic excellence at all levels of education.
The Powder Coating Institute Educational Fund	PCI has established an Educational Fund which is designated for the sole purpose of soliciting, recommending and approving scholarship awards to students who are pursuing studies in fields related to powder coatings. They must be attending an educational institution that offers studies related to the powder coating industry such as polymer science, manufacturing, or engineering.
The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)	Awards to students in science or engineering programs related to aerospace.
Richard Boolsby Scholarship (Plastics Industry)	Provides scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students who have shown a career interest or demonstrated practical experience in the plastics industry.
Ted and Ruth Neward Scholarships	Three needs based undergraduate or graduate awards of $3,000 are made annually to citizens of the United States. General Eligibility Requirements All applicants must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry. Applicants must be majoring in or taking courses that are beneficial to a career in the plastics/polymer industry. Applicants must be in good academic standing with their schools. Financial need of applicants will be considered.
Thermoforming Division Memorial Scholarships	Multiple scholarships up to $5,000 are awarded annually to graduate or undergraduate students, including those enrolled in associate or technical degree programs. Applicants must document their experience in the thermoforming industry, such as courses taken, research conducted or jobs held. General Eligibility Requirements All applicants must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry. Applicants must be majoring in or taking courses that are beneficial to a career in the plastics/polymer industry. Applicants must be in good academic standing with their schools. Financial need of applicants will be considered.
Anthony Anderson Scholarship Program	Annual Scholarship $5,000 Sponsoring Organization: United Negro College Fund, Inc. General Eligibility Requirements Freshmen - Grad school studying in a field relating to plastics US Citizen Minimum GPA 2.5
NASA Scholarship and Research Opportunities (SRO)	NASA Office of Education (OE) provides funds for the NASA Scholarship and Research Opportunities (SRO), which awards scholarships to individuals who are pursuing degrees in undergraduate studies specifically in areas of projected deficiencies in the NASA Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) workforce. Students interested in applying to the NASA Scholarship and Research Opportunities may apply to either the Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) Scholarships, the Aeronautics Scholarships, or both scholarships, provided the student meets the eligibility criteria. The MUREP Scholarship awards scholarships for individuals pursuing or planning to pursue undergraduate studies leading to Associate's or Bachelor's degree in one or more relevant NASA related, STEM disciplines. Students must currently attend or plan to attend an accredited Minority Serving Institution (MSI) in the United States. The NASA Scholarship and Research Opportunities for Aeronautics Undergraduate Scholarships (AUS) awards scholarships for individuals pursuing or planning to pursue undergraduate studies leading to Associate's or Bachelor's degree in areas related to aeronautics. These scholarships are directed toward enhancing the state of aeronautics for the nation, transforming the nation's air transportation system, and developing the knowledge, tools, and technologies to support future air and aeronautical vehicles.
