The Center for Student Success awards textbook scholarship funds every semester. To
be eligible for funds, you must be a full-time, undergraduate student at Southern
Miss on either the Hattiesburg or Gulf Park campus. Additionally, scholarship recipients
must participate in specified success based programs.

The Student Success Library is designed to provide access to success materials on
demand. Topics covered include improving study and note taking habits, learning how
to improve time management, thinking critically for college level courses, and setting
goals to keep yourself motivated.

Learn new strategies for academic success with an interactive workshop series open to all Southern Miss students on the Hattiesburg campus. Sessions are approximately 45 minutes, and hosted by Center for Student Success staff.
Open to all USM students.
The Campus Action Referral and Evaluation System (CARES) includes a team of campus professionals who quickly connect students to resources that address student concerns related to both academics and health, including, but not limited to:
