How Can I Share My Work?
Page Content
Presenting your work in a professional setting is the ultimate reward for and validation of your scholarly efforts. If you would like to share your creative work or results from your research project, you have many choices to present, perform, exhibit, etc. at events nationwide.
If this is the first time for you to share your work publicly, you may want to choose a local or regional event, because the large, national venues can sometimes be intimidating for first-time presenters.
Be sure to consult with your faculty mentor for suggestions for conferences and other venues that would be appropriate for you.
Undergraduate Symposium on Research and Creative Activity
The Southern Miss Undergraduate Symposium on Research and Creative Activity (UGS), is an annual on-campus conference for students of all majors.

National Conference on Undergraduate Research
The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is an annual conference in the spring for students of all majors to showcase their research and creative activity. We recommend applying for an Eagle SPUR grant in the fall competition (October 15 deadline) to present at NCUR.
