Undergraduate Symposium on Research and Creative Activity

Undergraduate Symposium

What is the Symposium?

The Undergraduate Symposium on Research and Creative Activity (UGS) at Southern Miss is an annual event that showcases the outstanding work being done by undergraduate students across campus. The event is proudly co-hosted by The Drapeau Center for Undergraduate Research (DCUR) and the Honors College (HC).

If you have a research project that you have conducted or an artistic work that you have created as an undergraduate student at Southern Miss, this is the opportunity to share your work with the Southern Miss Community! We hope you will participate either as a presenter or as an attendee at the next UGS, which will be a virtual event this year with live Q&A sessions on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

UGS Registration

UGS Registration opens in March; stay tuned for additional information!

The UGS submission portal is open.

Those of you who graduate in December are eligible to present the following spring.
