William E. McLeod, LL.M. (Tax), JD, CPA
Bill McLeod practices in the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, corporate
and partnership taxation, business entity formation (including tax-exempt organizations),
as well as sales, mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions, and tax
controversy matters. He is a member of the Southeast Mississippi and the Mississippi
Bar Associations, a Member and past Chair of the Trusts and Estates, Taxation, and
Business Law Sections; and is a Member of the Mississippi Society and American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants.
Bill received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Millsaps College. Prior to law school, Bill worked for the accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick. Bill received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1993, where he was the Associate Editor of Casenotes of the Mississippi Law Journal and a member of Phi Delta Phi. He received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law in 1994. Bill is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
Bill is a Member of the Rotary Club of Hattiesburg, is currently on its Board of Directors, and previously served as its President, and served as Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 6840. Bill is a Member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, where he serves on the Finance Committee, the Administrative Council, and as Chair of the Planned Giving Committee. Bill served as Chair of the Legacy Society for the Forrest General HealthCare Foundation, served on the Board of Directors of the USM Foundation, and served as Chair of the Advisory Board for USM’s Partners for the Arts.
Jeremy McMullin, CPA
Jeremy McMullin is a Senior Manager in EY’s Tax practice in New Orleans, where he
leads EY’s state and local tax practice in Louisiana and Mississippi. In this role,
he assists local clients with a wide range of tax issues, and he assists some of the
largest companies in the world with their Louisiana and Mississippi tax issues. Jeremy
serves a diverse client base, advising clients across numerous industries, including
energy, construction and engineering, food and entertainment, manufacturing, and consumer
sales. Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Accounting. He also received a Master of Science degree in Accounting
from Louisiana State University. Jeremy is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant
in the state of Louisiana.
Mike Morgan, CPA
Mike Morgan is a CPA and is currently serving as Professor of Practice at the USM
School of Business where he has been teaching finance courses for the last seven years.
Prior to joining USM, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Bomgar Corporation
for 8 years and served as President for 2 years prior to the sale of the company to
a private equity firm. Mike has served as CFO of four technology and telecommunications
firms. He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. Mike is married
to Tracy Morgan, also a CPA and he has three grown children, Will, Mitzi and Jerri
Ann (and Jerri Ann is a recent graduate of the USM MPA program).
Jeremy Graves
Jeremy Graves, received his master's from The University of Southern Mississippi in
2000, joined as an adjunct faculty member around 2007 and later moved to full-time
Instructor in 2009. He has trained instructors and industry members from all over
the United States the knowledge and skills required to design, maintain, and implement
current technologies. He has taught IT and IT related topics to students in classrooms
since 1999. He has built and managed multiple corporations that manage and maintain
IT for customers in the southeast. This has provided him with decades of enterprise
and small-business experience within his field.
