The University of Southern Mississippi is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award baccalaureate, master’s, specialist, first professional, and doctoral degrees. Contact
the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call

programs are accredited by professional, disciplinary accrediting agencies. For additional
information about individual programs, standards, accreditation documents, state license
and NC-SARA documents, contact the Office of the Provost.
