This Online Orientation format is a self-paced module that students can complete independently.
Orientation registration for the summer and fall of 2026 has officially opened!
Please see below for more information.
Students registered for the Self-Paced Module will gain access starting June 1.
The module must be completed within 30 days of first access.
- Walk-throughs of SOAR and Canvas
- Overview of support and resources available to Online students
- Information about important University processes and deadlines
The Online Orientation fee is $35. This fee is nonrefundable and must be paid at the time of registration. It covers the cost of programming platforms and a Southern Miss swag pack that will be mailed directly to you!
