Facility Reservation Request Process

Campus Recreation offers facility space available for rental at the Payne Center and our Outdoor Complexes, which include the outdoor volleyball courts, intramural fields, and Pride field. With a variety of setup options, amenities, and facility options, we hope to have the perfect venue for your team builders, philanthropy, hop social, meetings, and events.

Reservation Steps:

• For university departments and community groups, complete the facility reservation request 10 business days prior to your event. You will receive a response within 2 business days.
  • Campus Recreation Facility Reservation Request Form: https://www.usm.edu/campus-recreation/reservations
• Student organizations will be required to receive approval from the Office of Leadership and Student Involvement prior to submitting the Campus Recreation facility reservation request form.
  • The Office of Leadership and Student Involvement reservation requests for meetings and small events are due Monday at 4pm the following Sunday-Saturday. Special events require at least one month’s notice. When a holiday falls on a Monday, forms are due the Friday prior by 4PM.

• Failure to meet these deadlines will result in having to reschedule or cancel your reservation request.
• If the space is available for your event, you will be required to meet with the Facility Coordinator or Graduate Assistant to discuss event plans and logistics.
• Following the event meeting, you will be sent a facility use agreement to be signed and returned to confirm your event details.
• After your event, you will be sent an event evaluation to complete regarding pre-event communication and event execution.

Rec Sports Reservations are Available for:

• USM registered student organizations
• USM departments
• Community groups and individual businesses
  • Must be able to provide liability insurance
