Festival Fridays Official Rules

We are pleased to announce that we’re stepping up our game in getting everyone enthusiastic about the Festival and will be holding weekly giveaways with some amazing prizes including signed first edition books, signed prints, and even some original art from lots of great authors and illustrators! We will do a giveaway every Friday on Facebook!

We’re excited about Festival Fridays- and we hope you will be, too!

 

Official Rules/Facebook Release Statement:

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. Entrants and participants in this contest completely release Facebook from all responsibility. 

 

Official Rules:

•Entrants into the contest must either like or comment on the Facebook posts in order to win.  Each Friday giveaway is considered a stand-alone contest and as such entrants are allowed to enter each week's contest regardless of previous winnings.

•The winner will be chosen at random. Employees of the University of Southern Mississippi’s School of Library and Information Science, and employees of the Fay B. Kaigler Children’s Book Festival will not be considered to win. If one of these employees is either picked at random or has the comment with the most likes, another winner will be chosen based on the above criteria. 

•One entry per household. All employees of a library branch, library system, or school system may enter. 

•No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. The winner must be above 18 years of age. 

•The winner does not have to be an attendant or past attendant of the Fay B. Kaigler Children’s Book Festival. 

•Contests will open at 9 a.m. central time every Monday morning beginning July 28, 2017 until April 6, 2018, and will close at 11 a.m. central time every Friday evening beginning Julys 28, 2017 until April 6, 2018. 

•Winners will be notified the Friday of the giveaway following the giveaway before 5 p.m. central time.

•Types and values of prizes will vary dependent upon the week it is presented.

•Contest rules are subject to changes.
