ACES

Academic Connections to Enhance Success (ACES) is a unique program for incoming first-year students to participate in a small community of peers living and learning together. Students selected for the program live in the same residence hall, take courses together, and participate in additional programs and mentoring. ACES gives students a small, supportive community within the larger University.

JUMP into college!

The JUMP Scholars Program is a summer program for incoming freshmen who want to get a “jump” start on their classes and engage in the Southern Miss student experience early. Students who are chosen to participate will take summer courses together before starting Southern Miss in the fall. The JUMP Scholars Program also includes interactive learning opportunities, social events and other exciting opportunities not offered to other incoming freshmen. Learn more.

Visit Student Success to see the services we offer.
