Center for Science and Mathematics Education

Why choose a graduate degree in Science Education?

In the Center for Science and Mathematics Education, secondary and postsecondary educators will increase their content and pedagogical knowledge as well as further their careers by earning a graduate degree that is firmly based in the sciences and research-based pedagogy. The M.S. program provides the course work necessary to meet standards for advanced secondary teaching certification, to teach at the postsecondary level, or to work as an informal educator. The Ph.D. program provides the course work and experiences to make career advancements, become university professors, and conduct research in formal and/or informal science education.
