Assisting Students with Disabilities

Attention: If you are looking for the Office for Disability Accommodations (ODA) you are at the right place. We are happy to share the news that we are in the process of changing our name. We are changing from Office for Disability Services (ODA) to Student Accessibility Services (SAS). This name change will be a better representation of what we do for the students registered with our office. Nothing other than the name change will be impacted.

Each Fall and Spring semester, SAS graduation cords are available for any of graduating SAS students who are at commencement  ceremonies. These cords are 100% free to our students. The only requirements are (1) SAS registration, (2) graduating and walking in an upcoming commencement ceremony, and (3) completion of a request with a written reflection statement.

We will email and post the online sign-up for Fall 2022 graduates after the start of the Fall 2022 semester.

What do our cord colors mean? Our cords are royal blue representing seeking justice and physical disabilities, gold representing excellence, and kelly green representing mental health disabilities.
